About County Line

It started as a convenience store, with a deli on one side and a bar tucked in the back. When you stopped in for “Big Steve’s” special egg, bacon, bacon and more bacon and cheese toasted breakfast sandwich back then, you didn’t even realize there was a bar.

Soon, the grocery store was gone, garage doors were installed and the place debuted as an ice house, welcoming the biker population.

Now, two owners and three and a half years later, the County Line Bar & Grill has morphed into a different kind of venue where you don’t have to be a biker to enjoy this friendly neighborhood joint. When Fred Lassetter and family took over, the entire place was remodeled to provide something for everyone. Huge flat screen TVs invite you in for a Sunday game or a Nascar race. There’s pool, shuffleboard, darts and foosball if you’re looking for a friendly game. This eclectic mix of things to do, people to see and music to be heard make it seem like getting your three bars for the price of one.

Don’t forget to check out the mural on the back wall depicting a rider on an adventure across Texas. Look carefully at the bottles painted n the corner to learn the names of some of the regulars. And music can be heard almost anytime -- with live bands on Thursdays and Saturdays, Karaoke on Fridays and a full blown Jam Session on Sundays. But one of the best decisions the Lassetter family made was to re-open the kitchen and café where you can get one of the best burgers in town – day or night.

Had a long day in the saddle or at work, this is a great place to take a break before heading home. And don’t be surprised if one of the bartenders remembers your name, and your drink, the next time you come in!
